Our background is in storytelling, and we aim to do it in the most engaging way possible. We both have degrees in journalism and worked for years communicating stories with a distinct voice. We believe in bringing our hobbies to work with us, so our vision is guided by our interest in historic homes and architecture, art and photography, music, and sports.

Founded Hanscom Park Studio in 2012 after a career in journalism and graphic design in Portland, Ore., Omaha and Lincoln.
Ben Vankat
Designed pages, apps and websites for the Omaha World-Herald before joining Hanscom Park Studio in 2017.
What drives us
Quentin and Ben have spent more than a decade using smart design and creative problem-solving to help people share their ideas. Our work is shaped by the principles of the best newsrooms, where simplicity and clarity are central to storytelling. We’re a pint-size studio, but our ideas could fill kegs.
